Wedding Proposal {Mesa AZ Temple Wedding Photography}

Yesterday was great.  I have shot a number of weddings for the brides family over the years including her twin sisters wedding just two years ago.

The groom and I exchanged some secret Facebook and text messages to set this up.  He decided he wanted to propose on her birthday.  They first went to dinner and then “decided” to go for a walk at the Mesa Arizona Temple.  At the appointed time I waited in some trees off in the distance of where he would propose.  I started filming as soon as they arrived.  Groom was on his knee and I got the shot.  Of course she said YES!  They will be married in November at the Temple.

 

Alexandria and Marcus {Mesa AZ Temple Wedding Photographer}

I had a great time out at the Mesa Arizona Temple with Alexandria and Marcus.  They were a really fun couple that obviously were in love.  M & A were married in the morning then we all went over to the Landmark in Mesa for a luncheon and really funny performance by their friends and family. 

Later that evening they held their reception at the ASU LDS Institute.  Then at the end of the evening they left their reception riding on their long boards.  What a fun day.

The Vintage Barn in Gilbert Arizona

I had a great time working with Tawnee and Daniel out at The Vintage Barn in Gilbert.  The Vintage Barn is a fun new place to have a wedding that opened this year.  I have known the owner Marlene Jolley for a number of  years after shooting at her sons wedding.  She has a great eye for decorating.  The wedding reception was perfect and I would feel great about recommending The Vintage Barn to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding and or reception.
